If you’re like me, going without a pamper session for weeks can make me feel (and look) like Chewbacca, which…good for him, but no thanks.
Thus, it’s my recommendation that you pamper yourself from home! To help you unwind & relax, here are the products that have leveled up my Sunday evening self-care ritual.
You can CLICK THE PICS to purchase from Amazon and have them at your doorstep in just 2 days (ordinarily)!

I would call this my richest lip balm, even though its the cheapest. It’s the one I put on before bed every night, and the hydration lasts until morning. If you’re really ready to splurge, try the Vanilla Mint flavor for $0.29 more!

If you’re into essential oils & natural ways to relax, let me introduce you to Harney & Sons’ Chamomile tea. Chamomile is a floral herb that’s been used as a calming elixir for 900+ years. There’s no caffeine, making it safe before bedtime. As an added bonus, the holding can makes an adorable succulent pot!
Side note: always choose tea sachets over tea bags, because the quality of the tea is higher and delivers more flavor. Just check the label to see which one it is.
This is the most legendary candle of our time. It’s the scent they burn at Anthropologie, Altar’d State, and probably your fave local clothing boutique. And now, it’s earned a permanent place on my Christmas list each year. From Capri Blue’s website, the scent will allow you to “drift away with iconic notes of tropical fruit and sugared citrus”. Yes, please!
They also have this candle in white if that’s more your aesthetic; but for me, the indigo glass vessel is iconic!
Skincare is a definite personal preference, but I have to say this is my favorite skincare product I’ve ever bought. I did tons of research first, scouring reviews from aestheticians on YouTube like Susan @MixedMakeup and the gals Fe & Row @BeautyWithin. (They have fun channels, btw!) All that to say, I did lots of researching before committing to a product, so it had high standards to meet. And yet, it was WAYYY BETTER!!
Per the instructions, I started using it once per week and built up to using it every other night. It does it magic overnight, and I wake up with that *HONEYMOON GLOW*.
Note: Before using a skincare product, make sure you assess whether the product is suited for your skin type.
Part of my Sunday evening self-care ritual is a full-fledged salon manicure. I’m talking polish removal, sculpting, buffing, cuticles, and paint. Before I started using this bonder as my base coat, my manicures would look haggard within 4-5 days. Granted, I’m tough on my nails… I cook & wash dishes daily, work on furniture projects, and wash my hands incessantly. However, since incorporating Orly’s nail bonder into my repertoire, my manicures last with minimal chips until the following Sunday — i.e. for 7 days!
Some other tips I’ve learned for maintaining a manicure are:
I personally ***LOVE*** bubble baths! There is simply nothing more relaxing than soaking in a hot, soothing tub smelling like AMAZING GRACE. I spent most of this year without a bathtub, but (thank the Lord Almighty), I have one again. (No, I didn’t move just to get a tub…or did I?)
In fact, I’ve already got this Philosophy product in my Amazon cart for our new place.
I’ve used this masque since college, and it’s still my fave! As much as I could talk up its magic, I’ll let the active ingredients do all the bragging:
In other words —> It’s like taking your skin to the spa & then dressing it up in diamonds & cashmere.
TIP: When you wash off a masque, never use soap. The ingredients should stay on your face all night, so just rinse with water and sleep like an angel.
P.S. The difference between a “mask” and a “masque” is that the latter is bougie, so obviously to me it’s a masque.
The perfect follow-up to your Glamglow Facial Masque is this worth-its-weight-in-gold facial spray. The violet spray has the soft aroma of twirling your way through lavender fields, and its one I’ll use at any point in the day when I can feel my skin is dry and tight. The cucumber spray is really soothing for use after an exfoliating treatment or a sunburn. Don’t be fooled by the cheap price tag — these facial sprays give you bang for your buck!
As someone who wears sundresses for 11 months of the year, I think about my leg hair every day. Unfortunately, my leg hairs are dark and thick, making the next-day stubble feel like course-grit sandpaper.
With my epilator, I only have to think about body hair for 5 minutes a week, and I have silky smooth legs that last. We may be in the cooler months and maybe you don’t shave as often now, but think about that satisfying feeling of curling up in your bedsheets with silky, soft legs. That’s true luxury!
Now, you don’t “need” anything from this list, but I know these items have made luxuriating at home fun & easy for me, hence why I recommend them to you. Just click the photos or the links in each description to purchase directly from Amazon and turn your home into a relaxing spa.
